Wilmer Eye Institute and Wilmer Optical

Superior Vision Members (through the EHP Superior contract only) can use their plan benefits to purchase vision hardware through Wilmer Eye Institute Optical locations.

The Wilmer Eye Institute offers top-ranked ophthalmologists and optometrists available at nine locations across Maryland. Superior Vision has a custom contract with Wilmer. This means you will not find Wilmer as an in-network provider on Superior’s lookup tool for services.

Find Wilmer on this customized lookup tool.

Warby Parker – new as of July 2024!

Warby Parker is now an in-network provider under the Superior Vision Plan.

You can use your vision benefits toward Warby Parker products and services, including:

  • Standard eye exams
  • Frames and lens enhancements
  • Contact lenses

Visit the Warby Parker website to shop, find a location and book an appointment.

Out-of network Services: You pay for services in full, then send receipts or create an account to submit to Superior Vision for reimbursement based on the out-of-network benefit level. If you receive a routine eye exam through Wilmer, you can purchase your materials there, or take your prescription to an in-network provider.
